Very nice - I tried this out with my veritable treasure trove of barry m powders that I collected a couple of years ago, but the colours just don't seem to pop like these ones do! So I'll check out the palettes you've recommended and the MAC stuff I was just wondering, do you use a primer before putting on the colours? Also, you are probably the same skin tone as me, and I have a nightmare finding foundation - what do you use?
Yep, I use a layer of primer, then a layer of NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk and I apply the eyeshadow in a patting motion. I find this way helps to make the shadows more vibrant. If you use that technique your Barry M shadows would probably be just fine (you remind me I have some of those somewhere I have to dig them out!).
I can't remember what I used in this makeup, it would either be Diorskin Nude in #010 (my absolute favourite) or Bourjois Healthy Mix in 51 Vanille clair (both are the lightest shades).
